statement is this exortation to
protect yourself :
"Protect
your accounts from Identity Theft and Fraud,
sign up for eStatements today."
Seems to me that "signing up for eStatements" increases the probability
of exposure to identity theft and fraud. Sort of like the invitation to verify
the proper functioning of your weapon by pointing it at your foot and
pulling the trigger.
